OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR CANADIAN RESIDENTS

1. PROMOTION PERIOD:

Contest starts November 11, 2008 and ends January 15, 2009 11:59pm PDT (the "Contest Period").

2. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

You can enter the contest in one of two ways. A) Log on to the website http://www.quantumhealth.com/contest/contest.html and complete the on-line entry form (including name, complete address, email address, age, daytime telephone number), and submit the entry. B) Complete the Official entry form available on Quantum displays at participating retailers, while quantities last, or on a 4" x 6" piece of paper, write your name, complete address, age, daytime telephone number, and mail to: Quantum Library Contest, Box 2791, Eugene, Or, 97401. All electronic entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. (EST), January 15, 2009 (the “Contest Closing Date”) and all mailed entries must be postmarked no later than midnight on the Contest Closing Date. Limit one entry per person. A random draw will be conducted on January 20, 2009 from all eligible entries received.

PRIZE:

There is one Grand Prize available to be won consisting of the following

Restrictions: Winners cannot change the selection of books chosen by Quantum, Inc.

Second Prize: Five second prizes consisting of one copy of Prescription for Natural Healing by Phyllis Blachy.

The books will be shipped at no charge by Quantum’s carrier of choice to the location of the winner’s choice.

3. ODDS OF WINNING

Odds of winning the either prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received electronically and by mail.

4. CONTACTING WINNERS

The selected entrant will be contacted via telephone and email (if email address is given), within (5) five calendar days of the Draw Date, between 9:00AM and 5:00PM EST. If the selected entrant cannot be reached after approximately (3) three attempts during that time, an alternative entrant will be selected by random draw from the remaining eligible entries and such selection will be subject to the same conditions as set out in this paragraph.

5. COMPLIANCE

In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must comply with the Official Rules.

6. ELIGIBILITY:

Contest is open to residents of Canada, who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence and who are located in Canada at time of entry. Employees, representatives and agents of the Contest Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent judging organization and persons living in the same household with such employees, representatives and agents are not eligible to enter the Contest.

7. All entries received become the property of the Contest Sponsor and shall not be returned. The Contest Sponsor shall not be responsible for entries not received or not considered eligible due to lateness, incomplete or incorrect information, failed network connections or other technical problems.

8. Prizes are not transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable and must be accepted by the winner as awarded. Prizes will only be delivered to the verified winner. No substitution will be made on any prize except at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor who has the right to substitute a prize of greater or comparable value.

9. Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant and guests will be required to sign a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a Release of Liability form, releasing Contest Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and the independent judging organization (“Releases”) from any liability in connection with this Contest or the acceptance and/or use of the Grand Prize. Declaration and Release documents must be returned within (7) seven business days of the date of notification, or prize will be forfeited and eligible winner disqualified. By accepting or participating in the Grand Prize, prize winner consents to the use of his/her name, address, voice, statement, photographs or other likenesses, without further compensation, in any publicity or advertising carried out by Contest Sponsor or its related entities in connection with this Contest, except where prohibited by law.

10. Contest Sponsor reserves the right to change the terms of the Contest, in part or in whole, or terminate it at any time without prior notice. In the province of Quebec, this right is subject to the jurisdiction of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux. This Contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

11. Any and all taxes assessed as a result of receiving the Grand Prize, including flight departure taxes, will be the responsibility of the winner. Any costs not specifically listed as part of the Grand Prize are the responsibility of the winner(s).

12. By entering this Contest, entrants acknowledge having read the Official Rules and agree to be bound by them.

13. Entrants who have not complied with the Official Rules are subject to disqualification. All decisions of the independent judging organization are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Contest Sponsor and Releases are not responsible for any problems which may arise in connection with the Contest, including but not limited to, technical malfunctions of telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment or software, viruses, bugs, failure of personal computers and/or software and hardware configurations, or failure of any e-mail to be received by the Contest Sponsor or a participant for any reason including but not limited to traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof. Contest Sponsor and Releases are not responsible for damage to a user's system occasioned by participation in this Contest or downloading any information necessary to participate in this Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Contest Sponsor reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

14. By entering this Contest, entrants consent to Contest Sponsor’s use of the personal information collected on the entry form in accordance with its privacy policy as posted on its website.

15. The Contest Sponsor and each of the Releases are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Contest, including but not limited to errors in advertising materials, the Official Rules, the selection and announcement of winner or the distribution of the Grand Prize.

16. None of the Contest Sponsor, or any of it’s respective officers, directors, affiliates, related entities, partners, partnerships, principals, representatives, agents, licensees, sponsors, successors and assigns (i) make any warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind concerning the prize, (ii) disclaim any implied warranty, and (iii) are not liable for injury loss, or damage of any kind resulting from the acceptance or use of the prize or from participation in this Contest.

17. RESIDENTS OF QUEBEC: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of this Contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
