Should I use MagiComb on wet or dry hair?

It is best to use MagiComb after shampooing and conditioning. If that is not possible, start with dry hair and brush thoroughly with your own brush to remove tangles. Then begin to comb in small sections with the MagiComb.

What if the hair is very thick or very curly?

Start at the bottom of the hair and work up. Comb in small sections until all the hair has been combed.

Does it come with extra teeth?

MagiComb has the highest quality teeth available anywhere. The comb comes with one set of sturdy stainless steel teeth that will not scratch scalp or pull or tear hair. Additional teeth are available for treating multiple cases.

Can MagiComb be used as a preventative?

MagiComb can be used daily or even weekly to prevent a case of head lice. Kids like the way it feels!

Our family have been fighting head lice for over 18 months without success. We purchased all the otc products and also resorted to a number of home remedies and we also bought an electric zapper comb. The trouble with that, every time it zapped a nit or louse it stopped working and we had to remove the dead nit/louse before continuing and as one of my girls has very long hair it took ages to finish combing. As a regular purchaser of Follicel I was asked to test the Magicomb as part of a trial testing before being introduced into the UK. I found the Magicomb to be an excellent partner to Follicel and after using Follicel on my children I found that the Magicomb used on wet hair was brilliant and certainly cleared any nits and lice that had been left. I welcomed the opportunity to try the Magicomb on my children’s hair and I was asked by Harlow Lubricants to use on dry hair and then on hair which had been washed and shampooed with Follicel. Although delighted with Follicel we did find that combing after treatment was still a very long and tedious task and the nit combs we were using were not very good when dealing with thick curly hair and they kept on pulling and getting caught every few moments, much to the annoyance of my 3 children (all with thick curly hair).
