Eugene, OR. Summer 1999:
The National Parenting Center is one of America's foremost parenting information services, dedicated to providing parents with comprehensive and responsible guidance. In their Spring 1999 Report, both Buzz AwayAll Natural Insect Repellent and HairClean 1-2-3Lice Remover, were awarded the National Parenting Seal of Approval.
Products receive the Seal of Approval after being independently tested by parents and considered by the Review Board. Here's what the Review Board said about Buzz Away and HairClean:
Buzz Away Buzz Away has created a bug repellent that is easy to apply, and according to our testers, pretty effective at stopping those annoying outdoor pests. By far the most favored method of using Buzz Away was the moist towelettes, which were easy and quick to apply and gave a good dose of repellent. The DEET free application was also appreciated since it didn't harm clothes, plastic, rubber etc.
HairClean Lice (are) pesky, creepy, crawling creatures (and) are tough foes once they get into the general population whether it is a school, daycare center or your home. Re-infestation problems are as common as the spread of lice on their own. Ridding yourself and your home of lice is nothing short of a full time job. There are many chemically based treatments on the market, which can be dangerous, particularly if used repeatedly. HairClean 1-2-3 is a wonderfully safe alternative since it is made up of natural herbs and other ingredients. The parents and school nurses who used it reported no side effects and, that in most cases it eliminated the lice on the first try.
"Quantum is proud to provide parents with safe, natural alternatives," says Quantum president Eve McClure. "Parents can feel good about using Buzz Away and HairClean to protect their children from pesky bugs."
