How Does OraMoist Work?
As OraMoist dissolves, it releases a lipid (fat) that lubricates the mouth and makes it feel slippery. It also releases enzymes to replace the ones normally in saliva, and pH balanced lemon flavor and xylitol to stimulate natural saliva production. Users report that OraMoist provides exceptional nighttime dry mouth relief and helps improve sleep.
Can OraMoist Help Me?
Dry mouth can be caused by aging, certain illnesses, medications or lifestyle factors. Symptoms include a sticky, dry feeling in the mouth, frequent thirst, sores in the mouth; sores or split skin at the corners of the mouth, cracked lips, a dry feeling in the throat, a burning or tingling sensation in the mouth, and a dry, red, raw tongue. Dry mouth is a common side effect of many prescription and non-prescription drugs. Dry mouth is subjective; if your mouth feels dry, OraMoist can help you. See articles on dry mouth below.
How Do I Use OraMoist?
Place the OraMoist dry mouth treatment patch on a clean, dry finger with the convex or round pink side up. Place the pink side on one side of the roof of the mouth (palette), halfway back and hold in place of 10 seconds. The patch will adhere to the palette for up to 4 hours and then dissolve. Use up to three patches a day. Alternate Application / Denture wearers: Attach the patch on the inside of the cheek. Do not attach to dentures or appliances.
