Spring Head Lice Upsets
Parents
The nation's second largest school district
changed their head lice policy in April. Now, children who've been treated
for lice but still have nits (lice eggs) can attend school. But the
Los Angeles school district
has a secret weapon in the war on lice. Almost every one of it's 700
school nurse offices has a MagiComb on hand and will lend one to any
parent in need. The MagiComb is a battery operated lice comb that kills
lice and removes nits. Read

The
Mosquitoes are Coming!
Some parts of the country are starting to experience
the return of mosquitoes. Quantum Health is pleased to announce it's
latest addition to the Buzz Away line - Buzz
Away Extreme. This new, long lasting formula repels mosquitoes for up
to 8 hours and ticks for up to 2.5
hours.
Pine Bark Extract May Prevent
Inflammation
A daily dose
of pycnogenol could help reduce the markers of inflammation by 15% or
more, according to a new study. These finding are especially relevant for
sufferers of allergies, asthma and arthritis. Inflammation is the body's
response to infection or injury perceived by the immune system as foreign.
Absent, excessive, or uncontrolled inflammation may result in bodily
complications such as arthritis, including osteoarthritis and rheumatoid
arthritis, as well as skin, food and drug allergies.

Study
- Vitamin C May Help Cancer Patient
There is a preliminary link between the
consumption of high doses of vitamin C and extended survival periods for
cancer patients, an article published in April in the Canadian Medical
Association Journal found. Researchers at the U.S. National Institutes of
Health and the Center for the Improvement of Human Functioning
International reported on three cases of advanced cancer, where patients
had unexpectedly long survival times after receiving high-dose intravenous
vitamin C therapy.

Greetings,
I am writing to thank you
for a wonderful product. I received two samples of the Buzz Away
Towlette's in the mail. I put it to the test today as I took my
two breaks at work.
The first break I walked
for 15 minutes. Our building is located next to 3 fields The morning walk was terrible with
gnats, mosqitos..etc.
The second walk was
wonderful. I wiped the towlette on my face and neck (where I can't stand
gnats). Not one insect bothered me!
I will definitely will be
using this item this summer! I love the fact the it is a natural
product.
