Diabetics - Pycnogenol Delays Glucose
Uptake
A
new study to be published in an upcoming edition of the journal of
Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice reveals that French maritime pine
tree extract known as Pycnogenol© (pic-noj-en-all) delays the uptake of
glucose from a meal 190 times more than prescription medications,
preventing the typical high glucose peak in the blood stream after a meal.
The study revealed the pine bark is more potent for suppressing
carbohydrate absorption in diabetes than synthetic prescription
alpha-glucosidase inhibitors. Read

Echinacea Being Studied by

The
Iowa

Botanical Dietary Supplements at
Iowa
State
University, created by the
National Institutes of Health, is dedicated to researching Echinacea and
will be receiving significant funding from the NIH to do so. The center
hopes to find something like a fingerprint of the biologically active
chemicals in the herb. Read more

Biofeedback Explained
Biofeedback is a technique in which people are trained to
improve their health by learning to control bodily processes that normally
occur involuntarily, such as heart rate blood pressure, muscle tension,
and skin temperature. Biofeedback is an effective therapy for many
conditions, but it is primarily used to treat high blood pressure, tension
headache, migraine headache, chronic pain, and urinary incontinence.

Dear Quantum,
Greetings,
I am writing to thank you
for a wonderful product. I received two samples of the Buzz Away
towelettes in the mail. I put it to the test today as I took my two breaks
at work.
The first break I walked
for 15 minutes. Our building is located next to 3 fields The morning walk was terrible with
gnats, mosquitoes..etc.
The second walk was
wonderful. I wiped the towelette on my face and neck (where I can't stand
gnats). Not one insect bothered me!
I will definitely will be
using this item this summer! I love the fact the it is a natural
product
